👉 Explanation of Digital Marketing:
Throughout the years, marketing has always been customer-centric; the methods of delivering services and products have evolved, but the tactics have not. Technologies have brought about revolutions in various industries, including marketing, from print media to digital media. The rapid expansion of digital marketing is a direct result of internet and social media site usage.
Unlike traditional marketing methods, you don't have to walk door to door to convince people about the quality of your product; instead, 'likes' on Facebook and 'following' on Twitter do the job.
Four concepts are fundamental to digital marketing.
● Social media - Use social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to interact with your consumer base. Use it as a support channel, a launchpad for new items, and to publicise specials and unique offers.
● Content Marketing - The purpose of content marketing is to retain and attract consumers by providing valuable and relevant content on a constant basis with the intention of engaging a specific audience in order to promote profitable customer action. Companies benefit from content marketing because individuals find knowledge on the internet.
● Advertising - Advertising: The main difference between online advertising and conventional advertising is targeting. Most internet marketing platforms allow banner/text/rich media ad formats, which are priced in three ways: CPM (Cost per Thousand), CPL (Cost per Lead), and CPC (Cost per Click). CPM is the amount of money paid by the advertiser to search engines for each 1000 ad views that the ad receives, whereas CPC is the amount of money paid by the advertiser to search engines for a single click on its advertising that delivers one visitor to its website. The advertiser pays search engines and web publications for each click. Cost Per Lead advertising is another type of advertising in which the marketer pays for an explicit sign up from a customer who is interested in the advertiser's offer.
● SEO - SEO (search engine optimization) is a strategy that helps a website to receive more traffic from search engines such as Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo. There are two types of SEO:
○ off page SEO
○ on page SEO.
