HISTORY AND REASONS BEHIND CONSTRUCTION OF TAJ MAHAL:-

There was a beautiful love story behind the construction of Taj Mahal.

In the Mughal Dynasty, there was a king Jahangir. He had a son named Shah Jahan. He is the ruler of the Mughal Dynasty after his father's rule. Shah Jahan had two brothers, Asaf Khan, Nur Jahan.

At the age of 14, Shah Jahan fell in love with the Persion Princess. That Princess's name was Arjumand Bano Begum. Shah Jahan and Arjumand Bano Begum are of the same age. With the parents' support, they got married six years later. Shah Jahan gave a name to his love as "Mumtaz". The meaning of "Mumtaz" is "Jewel of Place".

After many years, they lived a beautiful life for many years. Finally, Mumtaz died by giving birth to a child. Mumtaz took all of her husband's happiness along with her.

On his wife's death, he made a promise to his lovely wife Mumtaz. Shah Jahan promised her wife that he would never marry again. He also promised that he would build a charnel house that honour her beauty. Shah Jahan built this to show how much he loves his wife.

In 1632, the formation took place on the banks of the river Yamuna in Agra. It took around 20 years to build the Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal was completely built in 1653.

DETAIL ENTROPY OF TAJ MAHAL:-

The Mahal is well established in 1632-1653(A.D.). Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders.

Taj Mahal is buildup of white marble and beautiful carvings. To make Mahal more beautiful, Shah Jahan used precious gemstones for its walls. If we observe the walls, we can see many writings. Those writings are in the Quran language, in different styles.

To build a Mahal, around 1000's of elephants worked hard. Shah Jahan searched all over the world and brought the best corporeal across India. In ancient times, there were no machines to work. So Shah Jahan replaced them with elephants. Around 20,000 thousands workers worked very hard to built their building for many years. After the construction, gardens were also built with water ponds, fountains etc..

This Taj Mahal just looks like a museum. It looks enchanting. The other name for Taj Mahal is "Mumtaz Mahal'. There was a slogan written on Taj Mahal. The slogan was "O SOUL, YOU ARE AT REST. RETURN TO THE LORD AT PEACE WITH HIM, AND HE AT PEACE WITH YOU". There was a dome on the top of the Mahal.

There are 1000 rooms in the Taj Mahal. We cannot see the lights in Taj Mahal. Because there were rumours that at nighttime, the soul of Mumtaz lives in the Mahal. She will not allow the lights at Taj Mahal. But, present the building is turning yellow colour. This is because of air pollution, stain of marble etc.. Taj Mahal is loosing its beauty. This is because it was too old and particles of carbon are decreasing. We can save this Taj Mahal by building a new dam, stopping the discharge pipes.
