SHORT NOTE ON BURJ-KHALIFA

Bringing the Burj Khalifa to life requires a combining of seer ideals and sound science. In the process, the project has amassed an impressive array of facts, figures and statistics.

It is over 828 meters (2,716.5 feet) tall.

Burj Khalifa holds the following records:

It is the tallest building in the world.

It is the tallest freestanding structure in the world.

It is the world's tallest floors.

It is the World's tallest floor in Super tall.

Not only is the Burj Khalifa the tallest building in the world, but it also broke two other impressive records: tallest structure, held by the KVLY-TV column in Blanchard, North Dakota, and tallest freestanding structure, formerly held by Toronto's CN Tower.

The Chicago-based Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) has established 3 standard to define what makes a building tall. Burj Khalifa won in all three families.

HEIGHTS:-

Height is measured from the level of the lowest important outdoor footer entrance to the field top of the building. This includes arrows but does not include antennas, signs, flagpoles or other technical and functional equipment.

This measure is the most widely used and is used to determine the Council's ranking of tall buildings and urban habitats of the tallest buildings in the world.

Height is measured from the level of the lowest, critical, outdoor footer entrance to the highest inhabited floor of the building.

Height is measured from the level of the lowest, meaningful, open-air footer entrance to the highest point of the building, regardless of the substantial or function of the tallest element.

This includes antennas, flagpoles, signs and other functional and technical equipment.
