UNIVERSE

Universe is everything. It includes all of space, and its continent, including planets, stars, galaxies, and all other forms of matter and energy. Universe is about 13.8 billion years old. The UNIVERSE was discovered by EDWIN HUBBLE.

Our Universe began with an explosion of space itself- Big Bang.

In this Universe, we have many galaxies, planets, stars, milky way, solar system etc... This universe is also called Cosmos. In this universe, we are a small bit or a creature.

INSIDE:

The universe is filled with billions of galaxies, trillions of stars, and with an uncountable number of planets, moons, asteroids, comets and clouds of dust and gas. We also have two black holes in the universe. Its consists of substances such as normal matter, dark matter, and dark energy. We can't imagine the size of the universe and it is impossible to travel the whole universe.

We can travel only half of the universe and what we know about this is very less. We have more and more to know and learn about this universe.

The exact shape of the universe is flat with only a 0.4% margin of error.

In this universe, the total planets we have more than 5000 planets but our solar system contains 8 planets namely Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.

Let's discuss the planets of the solar system:

MERCURY:

Mercury is the smallest and quickest planet that moves or rotates around the sun. There are many craters in the mercury. Its surface is cold and mostly filled with rocks. It is made up of thin rock layer on its surface. Mercury is very close to the Sun and moves around the sun in 88 days with 112,000 mph. Its second-hottest planet of the solar system. Comparing with other planets, mercury takes less time to travel around the sun.

VENUS:

V enus is the second planet and closest neighbour of the earth in solar system. It was first discovered in 17 B.C. by Babylonian astronomers. The average temperature of Venus is 460 degree Celsius. It also has a rocky surface like Mercury with 177.7 million square miles. Its the brightest object in the sky after sun and the moon. We cannot breath on the Venus because it has 97% of carbon dioxide and 3% of sulphuric acid.

It has a very thick atmosphere which traps the heat and make Venus very hot. It has active surface with volcanoes. It spins opposite direction of the Earth.

Earth:

Earth is very much better than other planets. On earth, We have valuable things when compared to other planets. Living on earth is a gift of god. Earth is the third planet and fifth largest planet around the sun. Earth is filled with substances like air, water and land. This is also made up of rocks and was in existence billion years of ago. Earth covered with 70% of water which includes seas, oceans and rivers and remaining 30% is covered with land. It takes 364 days 6 hours to takes one rotation around the sun. It has a radius of 3959 miles. Earth is 4.54 billion years old. Without an earth, we are no more on this universe. Earth is just like our mother in my point of view.

MARS:

Mars is the fourth and second smallest planet in the solar system. It is also called as Red Planet. Mars has a similar atmosphere as on the earth such as season, polar ice capes, volcanoes, and also weather. Its red because of rusty iron in the ground. Mars is the coldest planet and has an atmosphere as on earth. Its named as the "god of war".

JUPITER:

Jupiter is the largest and fifth planet from the sun. It is called a gas giant planet. Its atmosphere is made up of hydrogen and helium gas. Its covered with a thick red, brown, yellow, white clouds. Its biggest planet on the earth. Jupiter is a dark blue planet.

SATURN:

Saturn is the least dense planet in the solar system. It is composed of hydrogen and helium gas just like Jupiter. It is as light that it can float in water. It is the sixth and second largest planet. Its a massive ball and also have a rings around the planet. It is also called "The Jewel of the Solar System and Ringed planet. The saturn's rings are made up of ice and rock. Saturn is colder than Jupiter. These rings are 10 million and 100 million years old.

URANUS:

Uranus is the seventh and third largest planet in the solar system. It is a small giant and four times larger than earth. It is made up of hydrogen, helium, methane. This is also a coldest planet like other planets. Uranus has 13 rings and 27 moons. It is of blue-green colour and made up of two ice giants. And it has a twin planet named Neptune. It looks like a vibrant blue-green hues.

NEPTUNE:

Neptune is a terrestrial planet with a solid core and gases like hydrogen and helium. This planet is similar to Uranus such that it is made of a soup of water, ammonia and methane. Its blue in colour. It is also known as the Windiest planet. It is a blue planet because of absorption of red and infrared light by Neptune's methane atmosphere.
